In rural Rajasthan there are many little hotels and retreats that offer authentic village and countryside walks. Visit the pretty Rawla Narlai with its endless verandas clad in bright bougainvillea situated between Jodhpur and Udaipur. This charming hunting lodge is situated at the base of a huge granite rock and offers some lovely surrounding scenery to explore. Nearby is Chhatra Sagar a magical tented camp that is pitched on a dam and hillock, overlooking a lake teeming with wildlife. Guided bird walks and walking tracks are aplenty giving you a lovely wild Rajasthan experience. JAWAI Leopard Camp nearby also offers some extraordinary wildlife walking tours.
