Kumarakom Lake Resort, Kerala

Kumarakom Lake Resort is positioned on the scenic banks of Lake Vembanad, in the Kottayam district of Kerala and is spread over 25 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens.

The picturesque villas and suites have been carefully created using reconstructed traditional 16th century Keralan homesteads. Set among the meandering canals and pools they have all been tastefully furnished with teak interiors and earthy tones. The open roofed bathrooms are all set in intimate private courtyards.

One of the most unique features of this popular resort are the Meandering Pool Villas. Set along a 250-meter-long winding pool, each of the villas has access to the pool from a private bathing cove and cosy sit-out. The Heritage Villas and Presidential Suites are all set in pretty gardens, some with lake views and all have their own private pools, Jacuzzis and courtyards.

Take part in the daily yoga sessions, or choose from one of the several large swimming pools. The resort also has an extensive ayuredic spa offering many treatments that helps restore the guest back to a true sense of self, helping to find the balance of the mind body and soul.
